How Pre-Finished Timber Flooring is Different?
Pre-finished Timber Flooring provides a great alternative to the traditional engineered timber flooring. The advantage that pre-finished timber flooring has over unfinished hardwood is that it offers a much cleaner, clearer finish than a finished engineered floor in your home. Because the real wood floor is finished in carefully controlled factory conditions, it does not have the dust, dirt and other particles that are visible in almost any floor that’s finished on site. This in effect will lower the cost of labor.
Pre-Finished Solid Timber Flooring Coating Material:
The majority of our timber floorings have been finished with the German Klumpp and Treffert water base coating, recognized in our industry as a benchmark for both excellence and environmental awareness.
Our very fine Engineerd timber flooring made with German Klumpp UV coating which does not contain any dangerous substances, preservatives or additives. Nor do they contain any pesticides, fungicides, formaldehyde or asbestos.
A minor selection of our timber floors are coated with German Osmo Oil, which is an engineered finish made with plant oils and waxes. This remarkable finish offers excellent renew-ability with a unique lustrous finish. Instead of coating the floor with a film, as polyurethane does, these finishes penetrate into wood fibres and protect from within.
